If Iran continues these negotiations after being lied to about Lebanon, they will only be empowering the Americans and Israelis to come after them again.
Today was a horrible day. Israel unleashed unprecedented wanton destruction across Beirut and Lebanon. Some 50 Israeli war planes dropped 160 bombs across Lebanon in 10 minutes. And the Israelis gloated about it. These psychos named their escalation “Eternal Darknesss.”
They destroyed entire residential buildings without warning, with people still inside. As of now the death toll has reached 254 people with another 1,165 injured. These numbers will likely rise.
The Israelis openly massacred civilians, including in supposedly “safe” areas that had remained outside of the scope of bombings in the past. And then they called all the civilians they massacred human shields for Hezbollah.
They are lying about “Hezbollah strongholds” and killing fighters. Beirut is not a battlefield. The battlefield is in the south of the country where the Israelis have been failing in their attempt to invade and occupy, against fierce Hezbollah resistance.
Lebanon was supposed to be part of the two-week ceasefire between the US-Israel and Iran. The Pakistanis who brokered the pause said so. The Iranians said so. Within hours Netanyahu proclaimed he would abide by the ceasefire with Iran but would continue striking Lebanon. Later in the day Trump said Lebanon doesn’t count, greenlighting Israel’s massacres.
Netanyahu was getting slammed in Israeli media and by the opposition for what was being called a historic failure in Iran. It seems he spilled Arab blood for domestic political consumption while trying to sabotage US-Iran negotiations, which the Trump administration now seems fine with.
If the Iranians continue these sham negotiations after being lied to about Lebanon, as Israel carries out massacres across the country and demolishes buildings full of residents, they will only be empowering the Americans and Israelis to come after them again.
They seem to be moving in the direction of withdrawing from negotiations since violations have taken place before talks were even under way, as Iran’s speaker of parliament stated.

This is awful and a clear indication that Trump will give in to Israel's goals. We need the UN and key nations to step up and finally stop Israel's terrorism. Without Israel there would be peace.
